Below snack works fine when I play with it online but trying to load it on device and tapping on OPEN for Interstitial Ad causes app to close (go into background):
My app code is similar and it has same behavior. In fact, in simulator, the app crashes and on device it sends app to background.
Device: Moto G (3rd Gen) Android 6.0
Works fine on iOS though.
Tried on another Android device and I had similar issue. So I think this issue is not singled out to a certain device/android version. I think the admob plugin that is being used does not work with Expo SDK 32.
If someone from Expo team could confirm the issue, that would help. Thanks!
