App displayed on half of the screen when rotated from landscape to portrait

Hi Guys

I have created with expo a simple android app that is available here:

Then I created an apk which may be found here:

(the weird letters are Hebrew…)

When I started the app within expo in landscape and rotate to portrait, everything looks fine.

However, when I do the same thing with the apk, the app is displayed only on half of the screen.

Any idea how to fix that? The app is using MapView, not sure if it is relevant to the problem…
