The <Camera> component is fine, but it’s missing stuff. For example, you can’t rotate the phone while recording or your recording stops. Right now, using video in launchCameraAsync crashes the app. Are there plans to get video working with launchCameraAsync?

As far as I’m aware, this isn’t in our roadmap (at least in the near-term). What I would recommend is peruse through the feature requests on our Canny page (Feature Requests | Expo) and if you find one that aligns with your features desired, upvote it. If you don’t fine one, create your own detailing exactly what you’d like to see regarding Video/Recording functionality.
