A good rule of thumb is: If the library requires you to make any manual native code changes or run
react-native link, you won’t be able to use the library in a standard Expo project. If you find yourself needing to integrate one of those libraries into your project, we offer the
detach option which will create the
ios directories needed to make those aforementioned changes. Detaching does come at a cost so make sure you understand what it all entails by reading the following documentation:
