Does the Crypto module use hardware support on native?

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version:
    35.0.0
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all):
    Android

I wonder about the performance of the Crypto module and would like to know if (or if under any conditions) the module does use hardware acceleration. Of course I can take a look at he implementation, and I will, but it would be nice to have such important information, somewhere within the documentation.
