So I opened the Expo XDE and was prompted to update to the latest version (first time updating). However the installed failed and i got the error as in the image below. I uninstalled the Expo XDE and downloaded the latest version. However on running install I got the same error.
I just deleted the install files from the program files directory, restarted my computer and tried installing again. Worked this time.
