expo-cli crashes my whole system. (Windows / WSL)

The following thread was already closed, but I’m experiencing this issue.

When I start the server, I can’t get any of my devices to connect with the QR code. They all just hang, and eventually, my PC just shuts off and on again indefinitely. I have to manually shut it down.

I can get my devices to connect on my Macbook, but they do eventually stop working. So I have to re-start the server and client expo apps.

I upgraded to WSL 2, and now it works.
