Expo Notifications: Can I get notifications when using the Expo-Client app from the App store?

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 36.0.0
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): Android/iOS
  3. Using an iPhone physical device.

Is expo notifications supposed to work when using the expo client app from the app store?

I have tried following the push notifications guide, as stated in a previous post but it is not working properly in the expo app. Even when I tried using a snack I found from this expoo GitbHub thread I still don’t see any popup?

Is there some configuration I am missing?
