How can we terminate our app with background execution programmatically

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 40
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): all
  3. Add the appropriate “Tag” based on what Expo library you have a question on.

We have an app with som geo-related task running in the background. We want to add an option in our GUI so the user can terminate the app. How does that work?
