In-app push notification handler - format

Hello,
We recently moved from Expo notifications to using AWS Pinpoint and cannot figure out what format Expo expects in order to display the notifications in-app. I have looked through numerous similar posts on the forums and from my understanding the documentation isn’t supported/official for this topic. Unfortunately we have to use AWS Pinpoint, so if anyone can point me to the right direction for figuring out how to get the format right that would be greatly appreciated (even if it’s just where the Expo code is for parsing the notification payload so I can try to figure it out from there).

This is for both iOS and Android since they get handled differently
