release channel value is null when trying to do build expo project by with turtle cli

Good afternoon expo team,

When i build apk with turtle build:android --release-channel staging and test that in simulator.
The Constants.manifest.releaseChannel value is null instead of staging.
Can you please guide me why releaseChannel value is not getting set when we are using build feature through turtle cli.
