Running tasks in background

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 37.07
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): all

Hello, is it possible to run arbitrary compute in the background (that is, when an app is not foregrounded) using expo? I’d like to run some image processing using expo, but it will take too long to run while the phone is foregrounded. Any pointers others can offer on this question would be very helpful!
