I built a stand alone app with ios and uploaded to the apple store, I can download and use the app in test flight. However, after I change something and run expo publish again, the app downloaded from test flight did not change. Does over the air update not work on stand alone built apps?

OTA updates does work on standalone. Can you make sure updates are enabled in your app.json and that you are publishing to the same channel as the one associated with the production app?
