Struggling to get running on Ubuntu 17.04

I am having some issues getting Expoe with XDE up and running on Ubuntu 17.04. I have it running on both Windows and Mac OS, which, while it works, isn’t where I usually code :slight_smile:

I have followed the instructions on the install docs.

However, on two different machines, I never seem to see the message running packager on port 19001 like I do for both Mac OS and Windows.

When I try and load the file on the Expo client software on a phone (Android), I get a message that packager is not running.

It feels like I am missing something basic. Any ideas?

the issue here was an install of Docker which was the preferred network driver and not reachable from a device
