Will air update happen if expo version is too low?

Please provide the following:

  1. SDK Version: 40
  2. Platforms(Android/iOS/web/all): Both

I just upgraded my expo version from 37 to 40. All my users out there are currently on 37 in prod.

If I publish my latest code, will it go out to my guys on 37 in prod? I don’t want them to get it, because I use new api’s only available after 37.
