Apple Authentication validate JWT token

As part of the AppleAuthentication.signInAsync method we get back a JWT token, which I want to send to the server and then validate see here but i dont know where to begin with this, has anyone done this and can perhaps give me some pointers.

Server side language is PHP in case you can give specific libs or code insights
