Expokit slow start

I detached an app to expokit,

now the start time is very slow. It stays at “downloading javascript bundle” for 50-60 seconds on local development until the app is loaded. That is definitly too long to work with. How can this be solved?

When i publish the app, does it also need to download the javascript bundle on every startup? Does it need to download the javascript bundle on first start if there is no new bundle published?

i’ve been seeing this even without detaching. i also deployed to app store and get serious hang time at the beginning of app launch.

that is not good. Is there a solution or should i detach from expo completly? I don’t need much of its api.
